The Air Force Veteran and Local Mother of Four Enters the Final Weeks
of California’s Primary as the First Black Republican to Vie for this Seat

FAIRFIELD, Calif. – The Tamika Hamilton for Congress campaign announced today that Air Force veteran and leading Republican candidate for California’s third congressional district, Tamika Hamilton, has received the endorsement of the California Republican Party.

This latest endorsement comes on the heels of six consecutive county party endorsements, making Hamilton the only Republican candidate in the race to be endorsed by both local and statewide Republican parties.
“In a short amount of time we have registered and reactivated thousands of California voters that are tired of watching Pelosi’s circus in Washington,” said Tamika Hamilton, Republican candidate for Congress.  “Every couple years Democrats like Rep. John Garamendi show up with crocodile tears asking for votes, but our local farmers, veterans and small-businesses won’t be fooled again. We are united, we are organized and after ten long years of putting Washington interests first, we are finally going to retire Rep. John Garamendi!

A victory for Tamika Hamilton in California’s third congressional district would make history as she would be the first black woman from her party to represent California in the United States Congress.

However, the buzz around Tamika’s candidacy is not confined to California; to date the Hamilton campaign has received an outpouring of support from across the nation via online contributions from 37 different states across the country.
